My dear, never try to compare yourself to anyone. Comparison only brings distraction, kills creativity and takes away your joy. “The only person you should be comparing yourself to is the person you were yesterday.”

Remember, all that glitters is not gold. And life is not only about material things. You need to stop thinking about what other people think about you, or trying to impress people that don’t care about you. There are so many things to care about in your life than worrying about unnecessary things. God has given you a wonderful spouse, children, and good health, you should be thankful for that. “Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities! All is vanity.” Ecclesiastes 1:2. Be happy with what you have and stop thinking of how to impress others.


The Lord will provide for you every day, such as food, housing, and clothing. Therefore, do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you. (Matthew 6:31-33).


To the younger generation out there: If you are single and still have not gotten what you want, or you do not have enough to survive and did not yet put the past behind you, it is now time to start thinking of changing your way of living. Ask God to make you that person He wants you to be. Fast and pray, meditate on His word day and night; repent and stay away from distraction. Be patient and wait for your turn, God will surely bless you on His time.

The desires for wealth can be so deceiving and easily become a false idol in our lives. -Bible Money Matters.

Being wealthy is not necessarily wrong, but allowing our money and things become idols in our lives. Instead of allowing money to become the central focus of our lives, we need to look to Christ to fulfill all our desires.

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:19-21 

Next time you try to compare your life to others, remember that there is no comparison between the Sun and the Moon. People, animals, birds, and fish are each made of flesh, but none of them are alike. Everything in the heavens has a body, and so does everything on earth. But each one is very different from all the others. The Sun isn’t like the Moon, the Moon isn’t like the Stars, and each star is different. That is why I want to urge us to stop comparing ourselves to others. 1 Corinthians 15:39-41


“I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:11-13

I’m telling you this because if it wasn’t for Jesus, I don’t know where I will be today. Life is not easy without Christ Jesus. So without trying to comparing myself to anyone, I chose to put God’s strength, confidence and determination in front of me. I’m not perfect, I’m very far beyond it. Putting those words in action work perfectly fine for me. Therefore, there is no need to spend time comparing myself to others. the moment you begin to do what the Bible tells you to. God will also be faithful and give you what you have asked him. Again, only if this aligns with His will. Have faith and live a happy life no matter how hard life can be. I will encourage you to look up to Jesus and life will be much better than ever.


Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
